IMSI/Design leverages
“Tomorrow’s Graphics, Today !”
with REDsdk from REDWAY3D
IMSI/Design is the global leader in retail CAD (Computer Aided Design) and home design, and a pioneer in mobile solutions for the AEC (Architectural, Engineering, and Construction) industry. With over 16 million products distributed since 1988, IMSI Design products include TurboCAD®, DesignCAD™, TurboFloorPlan®, TurboViewer®, TurboReview®, and TurboSite® families of design applications for desktop and mobile.
REDsdk enabled the solution
REDsdk offered a wide range of supported hardware configurations which enabled IMSI/Design to deploy high quality 2D/3D graphics worldwide. IMSI/Design could benefit from the flexibility of REDsdk in order to keep its software architecture which relies on the Open Design Alliance for compatibility with the DXF and DGN formats.
IMSI/Design speaks out
“REDsdk has provided us with technology that has enabled our TurboCAD and DesignCAD products to take full advantage of GPU’s on the leading graphics cards. The integration process of REDsdk into our applications has in all cases gone smoothly and the REDWAY 3D engineers were always available to provide help. Our customers have been so impressed by the quality and speed of the renderings they are able to produce using REDsdk, which is ultimately the validation we desired when choosing this REDWAY 3D technology.” said Bob Mayer, President of IMSI/Design.
